Living Proof

All Roses, a book by Cheryl Dunn for Living Proof.

‘All Roses’ captures the fleeting moments of New York and San Francisco’s underground art scenes before they were widely known or faded into history. Cheryl Dunn preserved a time when graffiti, skateboarding, and art were all intertwined in a way that can’t be replicated today. Her work is a cultural time capsule of the people who made history without ever trying to.

Ooga Booga

New at Homebody: Ooga Booga

Ooga Booga started in 2004 as a tiny shop in Chinatown Los Angeles specializing in independent art, books, music, and clothing.

Over the past decade-and-half they've organized events, performances, film screenings, and readings. From January 2013 to May 2018, they had a second location (Ooga Booga #2) at 356 S Mission Road, where they co-organized free weekly programming such as artist projects, talks, book events, films, workshops, music, food, and performances.

Their physical (our favorite) store, in Chinatown sadly closed in 2019, after 15 years, but we're lucky enough to stock some products from the best to do it.

Available now online and in store.
